Our clients are foreign suppliers and contractors on Russian-designed projects, and equipment manufacturers supplying Russia and the CIS. We translate technical documentation, lay out drawings, run machine translation with post-editing, and can handle a documentation set end to end. We also provide interpreting and on-site support for commissioning, inspections and audits.

Technical translation
We translate manuals, safety data sheets, reports, specifications and other documentation.
- Russian documentation ready for acceptance in Russia: terminology and formatting follow GOST (Russian national standards) and ESKD (the Russian design documentation system), and we work to the project's glossaries.
- Russian design and quality documentation translated into English.
- Translation memory (TM) and a project glossary keep terminology consistent across the whole set.
- Large documentation sets go to a project team.

Drawings and scans
- We lay out translated documents to match the source

Machine translation
Fast, low-cost translation for large volumes of tender documentation or internal correspondence.
- We agree the data handling mode, standard or closed (no external APIs), before we send a quote. How we work
- To keep the output accurate, we prepare the document, use industry-specific MT engines and connect glossaries so that the engine uses the right terms.

Software and UI localisation
We localise software for industrial equipment and IT systems.
- We translate HMIs for machine tools, SCADA systems and control panels
- We translate resource files (.xml, .json, .po) without touching the code
- We stay within encoding and string-length limits, then check the translated interface

Interpreting and on-site support
We interpret for your engineers and inspection teams at production sites and on business trips.
- Installation supervision and commissioning: on the shop floor, with an interpreter who understands the engineering.
- Audits and inspections: we accompany inspection teams at inspection points.

The hourly rate covers complex work: drawing scans where the structure and frames have to be rebuilt, schematics with colour-coded lines, and schematics in Chinese.

FAQ
.01Do you offer a test translation?
Yes, we offer a free test translation of up to 2 pages / 500 words.
.02How do you count the volume?
Translation is counted in source words, with a discount for repetitions.
If a contract is priced per page, one page is 250 words.
Layout is counted in physical pages of the document.
.03What paperwork do you provide?
We work under a contract and issue an invoice and a certificate of completion.
Once the contract is signed, we can supply additional documents for due diligence, such as tax reporting and beneficial ownership information.
.04How fast can you work?
As a baseline, each translator produces 2,000 words a day and each DTP specialist handles 80 pages of medium-complexity layout a day.
For large orders we put together a project team that handles up to 40,000 words of translation and up to 200 physical pages of layout per day (En ‹› Ru).
The minimum turnaround at the standard rate is 2 working days, whatever the size of the order.
.05Can machine translation cut the cost?
Yes. We use specialised neural machine translation models and connect your glossaries to them.
We recommend raw machine translation (with no editor) only for internal use, when you need the gist of a document quickly. For anything important, we recommend post-editing.
